Our Story

Established in 1983, D & J Nursery has grown into a trusted, family-owned destination for gardening enthusiasts throughout Dothan, Alabama and surrounding communities including Ashford, Enterprise, Ozark, Andalusia, Cowarts, Gordon, and Webb. What began as a small family venture founded by David and Betty Jo West has flourished into a multi-generational business rooted in passion, knowledge, and a deep love for the outdoors. Passed down through the family to Stan and Carla, and now proudly owned by Emily and Trey, D & J Nursery continues its legacy of providing exceptional products, personalized service, and a welcoming, down-to-earth atmosphere.

Spread across five acres with eight active greenhouses, D & J Nursery offers an impressive and ever-changing selection of plants, flowers, and garden essentials to suit every style and skill level.
